An opportunity has now arisen for a Safety Advisor to join our South Australian team reporting to the Regional Safety Manager, and based in either our Mile End Office, or one of our other SA locations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter to make their mark in the Construction industry.

Your Contribution:

  • Providing advice and support to managers from a safety perspective;
  • Building long lasting relationships based upon trust with clients, managers and employees;
  • Attending prestarts and conducting toolbox talks;
  • Conducting workplace risk assessments, site assessments and site inductions;
  • Participating in safety audits and inspections and safety stats reporting;
  • Participating in tender reviews from a safety perspective;
  • Conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis;
  • Drafting emergency response plans and Injury management;
  • Designing and delivering safety, plant and equipment training.

Let's Connect:

  • Preferable tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety;
  • Demonstrated experience in safety roles across construction projects or manufacturing;
  • Knowledge of ICAM or TapRoot;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills;
  • Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills;
  • Proven experience with behaviour based safety programs.


Ideally, your approach to safety will be one of supporting, coaching and mentoring business units, and you will be flexible, adaptable and possess strong communication skills.

You will have an ability to build and maintain relationships across all divisions and levels, and possess knowledge of road maintenance and manufacturing.
