Salary Range: $80K base to $90K base + Super

Fulton Hogan - Infrastructure Services, is seeking to appoint an experienced HSE Advisor to complement a multidisciplinary Major Project team based in Brisbane, Queensland. Reporting to the Regional HSEQT Manager, this role will see you play a crucial part in developing and delivering various projects in the region. This will suit someone who has a genuine passion for safety and wants to play a role in helping develop a culture of HSE accountability, ownership, awareness and leadership across projects.

The Role
- Assist with implementation of Fulton Hogan health and safety systems and strategies
- Provide health and safety specialist advice, technical and management support
- Undertake risk assessments of complex tasks collaboratively with internal and subcontractor delivery teams
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent and minimise workplace injuries
- Support managers and supervision of activities to achieve a positive health and safety culture
- Implementation and custodian of the businesses safety management system
- Conduct thorough incident investigation and facilitate the sharing of lessons learned relevant to improving safety performance
- Provide governance through scheduled audits and inspections of management plans, procedures, and activity risk to ensure practices align with business, client and legislative requirements
- Support proactive risk reduction and continuous improvement programs.

How you’ll connect to the role:

- Demonstrated experience as a HSE Advisor delivering Civil and Airport projects
- Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
- ICAM lead investigator
- Current First Aid certificate
- Demonstrable experience working autonomously achieving deliverables in tight time frames
- Strong HSEQ Systems experience
- Proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of an organisation
- Quality / Safety Lead Internal Auditor (desirable)
- WHS and Injury Management experience & thorough understanding of WHS legislation
