About the position


As an Educator your role will be to support the team to provide an environment that is responsive to the individual strengths, abilities, and interests of all children, including those with a disability and/or additional support needs.

Skills and experience relevant to the position:

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to complete observation documentation
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of EYLF + NQS and a commitment to excellence in early childhood to provide highquality care and education.
  • Ability to deliver quality education programs, daily routines including intentional teaching and spontaneous experiences that meet the needs and interests of each individual child.
  • Ability to help implement the program planned for the children in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Experience working with preschool children and/or in a preschool setting would be an advantage.

Key requirements:

  • An approved Diploma In Early Childhood Education And Care recognised by ACECQA or must be actively working towards the qualification.
  • A demonstrated interest in children and their development
  • First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Working with children check
  • Police check with 6 months relevancy
  • Working rights
  • Visa / Passport
  • Photo ID or drivers license
Part-time/Full-Time hours: 15-38 hours per week with the possibility of more for the right fit.

Job Type:
Permanent Part-Time or Full-Time

Salary:
$ $35.00 per hour

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary:
$ $39.00 per hour
