Position:
Order Processing Specialist


As an Order Processing Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales order cycle for our wholesale distribution customers.

Reporting to the Orders & Logistics Manager, this is a full-time role that requires meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.


In this position, your key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Enter customer purchase orders into the system accurately
  • Coordinate delivery time slots with major trading partners
  • Book freight movements with our 3PL partners
  • Manage Chep and Loscam pallet transfers
  • Process all sales order documentation, including delivery dockets, invoices, freight consignments, and pallet transfers
  • Liaise with internal and external warehouse staff to ensure stock accuracy
  • Monitor freight movements to ensure ontime delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Address customer queries and provide proof of delivery confirmations when necessary
  • Work closely with procurement to maintain adequate stock levels in each warehouse

About You:

  • Practical understanding and experience in an FMCG business will be highly regarded
  • Sound knowledge of the order fulfillment process
  • Previous experience in order processing, administration, and data entry
  • Experience using business ERP systems, with exposure to SAP B1 highly regarded
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proactive and selfmotivated approach to work
  • Proficient with IT systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure without compromising speed and accuracy
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective communication with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers
  • Experience with thirdparty logistics providers will be highly regarded
