The Role
We are seeking a highly engaging
-
Customer Service Supervisor to join our Contract Logistics team in
-
Redbank, Brisbane.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support existing and new products and services, looking at ways of reducing costs
  • Manage the activities of supervisors/team leaders in the management functions to extend individual skills and achieve overall objectives.
  • Meet financial targets as set and agreed with the board of management.
  • Reviews staff performance in accordance with Schenker commitments to its ISO 9002 accreditation.
  • Ensure the security of customer inventory including handover to contracted carriers.
  • Solves customer complaints in conjunction with responsible departments
  • Escalate complaints of service failures to designated manger/supervisor/account
  • Assist senior management with reports and activities

About You:

  • 35 years experience in the Freight Forwarding/Logistics industry.
  • Highly experienced in building and maintaining Customer Relationships.
  • Equivalent combination of Education and experience
  • Knowledge of logistics operations requirements.
  • Specific Warehouse Management System skills.
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel etc)
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, highly service orientated.
  • Good awareness of and exposure to WH & S requirements
  • Awareness of current logistics systems / materials handling equipment and providers.
