As a Group Security Manager, you will provide protective security advisory to the Group; including 24-hour 7-day operational support as required. You will also design, develop, and implement proactive process and programs that are fit for purpose and manage security risks to protect staff, customers, assets, and operations.
You will also be accountable for the following:
Identify operational and technology efficiencies to reduce overall security costs. Enable the divisions, through expert advice and development of programs, to take ownership of security risk and adapt a proactive approach Manage threats and critical incidents impacting staff and customers. Ensure that security operations, guarding and surveillance systems are intact and operational with active management Assist in the review of Group Security policies, standards and requirements.Role Location: Collins Street, Docklands VIC

What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Proven experience as Security Manager or similar position in-line with commercial, residential, and banking facilities. Expert knowledge of security protocols and procedures that underpins reporting and emergency response planning Knowledge of security technology and equipment (e.g., CCTV, Access Control, and alarms) Ability to plan strategically with high-level management and coordination skills, especially in a critical environment Ability to understand business priorities and translate those into tangible and achievable goals. Proven self-starter who is proactive and forward thinking. Strong organizational and demonstrated leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the businessWhy join us?
