The Position

We are enthusiastic about contributing to the enhancement of procurement resource skills and standards to professionalize procurement activities.

We are looking for Senior Defence & Federal Government Procurement & Contract Management Professionals to join our team.

You will collaborate closely with our clients to deliver sophisticated and strategic commercial and procurement advice and solutions, including:

  • Analyzing and exploring Government procurement strategies with business sectors;
  • Providing practical and tailored procurement solutions;
  • Preparing procurement documentation, such as business cases, requirements, statement of work, approach to market, and approval documentation;
  • Optimizing contract costs to maximize value-for-money results;
  • Formulating procurement strategies and plans for the Department's leadership;
  • Finalizing procurement documentation through approval processes;
  • Enhancing the skills and guiding APS personnel.

Security - AGSVA Cleared NV1 (or higher) is a must.

Essential requirements:

  • A qualified commercial professional with advanced degree qualifications;
  • Tangible experience in Federal Government/Defence procurement & contract management positions;
  • Practical & operational understanding of CPR's & the PGPA;
  • Ability to excel under pressure.

Desirable qualifications:

  • Legal qualifications are beneficial;
  • Defence background is highly valued.
