Key responsibilities

  • Consulting and partnering with stakeholders, both across the wholeofgovernment and externally, to develop and successfully implement strategies, plans, programs and other initiatives that develop the skills of government officers in procurement and contract management.
  • Management of a supply arrangement that provides procurement certification, along with undertaking approach to market activities related to the arrangement. Researching current capability trends and planning for needs based on identified skills gaps using best practice models.
  • Maintaining active liaison with key stakeholders, including budget sector agencies, government owned corporations, statutory bodies, interjurisdictional counterparts, professional bodies, academic institutions and other thought leaders.
  • Design, develop and deliver wholeofgovernment events to procurement and contract management practitioners.
  • Identifying and partnering with third party providers to produce learning and development programs, including eLearning courses. Prepare and present high level communications relating to strategic, wholeofgovernment planning aimed at senior and executive staff.
