The Culture and Capability team, within People and Culture delivers a dynamic program of work to support a positive employee experience, build organisational capability and an inclusive workplace for all including:

  • capability development to enhance performance (including mentoring, management development, employee development, in house workshop facilitation, employee onboarding, manager induction and performance development)
- enhancing employee engagement through a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing including coordination of the employee opinion survey, delivery of employee and leadership forums, team building and employee recognition
- fostering an inclusive workplace culture through the diversity and inclusion program.


As the Principal Consultant your role will include strategic workforce planning, leadership capability development, succession planning, coordination of leadership engagement events and embedding the leadership competencies.

This role is a mix of annual program delivery and project work, both designed to build organisational capability and embed culture.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop the DPC Strategic Workforce Plan and supporting action plan and maintain oversight of delivery.
  • Manage leadership capability development, including coordination of leadership forums.
  • Coach leaders and managers and in all aspects of building high performing teams, capability development, employee engagement and inclusion.
  • Identify, develop and implement programs of work that build capability and enhance employee experience and organisational culture.
  • Facilitate small group workshops and presentations.
  • Manage and/or coach Culture and Capability team members.
