  • The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) is a government body responsible for regulating the building and construction industry in the state of Queensland, Australia.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, manage and deliver end to end communication activities for the organisation, including strategic planning, implementation, monitoring, tracking and optimisation.
  • Determine a strategic communication approach and calendar that will assist in driving organisational goals.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing and communications collateral.
  • Lead and implement the digital channel strategy and customer experience approach.
  • Develop and implement policies and systems to strategically manage organisational communication activities.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to a team of communication specialists.

About You:

  • Significant experience and proven ability in leading, implementing and measuring strategic communication plans and campaigns across both online and offline channels (including strong knowledge of digital marketing best practice).
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills to establish strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team including allocation of resources, objectives, and performance development.
  • Ability to think strategically with excellent planning and analytical skills.
