It's an exciting time to join this mining company, with projects ramping up and a clear vision for the business and their people, an opportunity is now available for an experienced HR Business Partner.

It's a full time, permanent role on a 8:6 FIFO roster.


You'll be reporting to the HR Superintendent, providing support to the business leaders at site, and advice and assistance to the site based teams.

Ideally, you will have experience within the mining and resources sector and have exposure to project environments as well as operational human resources processes and practices including complex employee relations and investigation matters.


The role includes but is not limited to;

  • Provide effective and professional HR services advice to employees and leaders
  • Provide accurate information for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
  • Review, develop and implement improvements HR practices, policies, procedures and systems
  • Support various site wide training initiatives and career development programs
  • Assist with recruitment and separation process, as required
  • Liaison with internal department managers

To
be successful in this role you will possess;

  • Degree qualification in HR or similar
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably onsite in a mining or construction environment
  • Strong operational within the resources sector including managing employee grievances, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problemsolving skills and common sense
  • Resilience and a positive attitude
