Roster:

Permanent Perth-based role with options for flexible and agile working so that you can show up for both your Fortescue family and at home.


The Role:

As a Manager, Mine Control, you'll be at the forefront of our Integrated Operations Centre, the Fortescue HIVE.

From here, we remotely operate our world-leading assets and infrastructure across five mines, including our fleet of autonomous trucks and drills, railway, and port operations.


Collaborating closely with partners including Mining Operations, Processing Control, Operational Technology, and Planning, this dynamic leadership position plays a pivotal role in shaping and guiding our mining operations, focusing on productivity, safety, technology advancement, and facilitating the development of our future environmentally sustainable mining initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a large team overseeing Mine Control and Drill control functions across multiple Pilbara Operations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive performance, productivity, safety, and technological innovation.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and design for decarbonization, shaping the future of green mining operations.
