Located at Brookfield Place, the state-of-the-art Integrated Production and Remote Operations team (IPRO) of BHP Iron Ore plays a crucial role. The Control Centre operates 24/7 using cutting-edge real-time technology to ensure visibility and control throughout the Iron Ore supply chain.

The future of mining is unfolding right before our eyes as we expand our autonomous operations across our West Australian Iron Ore sites. Join our Autonomous Control team to explore and maximize the potential of our Autonomous Fleet

Joining this team means entering an engaging, fast-paced environment that constantly strives for improvement. Working collaboratively with on-site personnel, you will play a key role in achieving safety and production targets by ensuring the efficient operation of our Autonomous Fleet through the Command Minestar Fleet Management System.

Reporting to the Supervisor AHS Control, your role involves safely executing the daily operations plan while optimizing the utilization of the Autonomous Truck Fleet. You will actively ensure compliance with schedules and operating principles, fostering a culture that not only adheres to company safety standards but also seeks continuous operational efficiency enhancements and cost savings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Commitment to a safe working environment

About You

Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience in Mine Control or System/Field Builder roles
  • Thorough understanding of FMS such as Minestar Command for hauling
  • High level of computer literacy and multitasking abilities
  • Collaborative approach with strong engagement and influencing skills
  • Strategic and forward-thinking mindset suited for a fast-paced, dynamic work setting
  • Team player, adept communicator comfortable working with stakeholders across departments and sites
