Education (Organisation site ) Procurement and Facilities Services Branch, Finance, Procurement and Facilities Division Procurement & Facilities Services Branch has a permanent full-time A08 Manager, Procurement Services positions within the General Goods and Services category team on a full-time permanent basis.

As Manager, you will be a part of a team that works closely with keystakeholders to provide benefits/value to procurement activities and deliver high quality category management services to the Department.

You will have a good knowledge of tendering and contract management processes and will be expected to lead the developmentof category management strategies, including the development of plans for significant procurement within the category.

About the Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead, manage and continue to build a team of branch staff, both public servants and contractors, who undertake a variety of end-to-end procurement activities.

Provide mentoring, guidance, development opportunities, on-the-job training and advice to branch staff, stakeholders, customers across the department, across government and within industry.

Exercise a procurement delegation, overseeing sourcing and contract management processes.

Lead the development and implementation of best practice procurement management systems, strategies and procedures that meet business needs, deliver economy and efficiency and ensure consistency.

Build and sustain relationships with a network of key stakeholders across the Department and the Government.
