The role of Employment Support Consultant (Occupational Therapist) supports participants diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological conditions to achieve their goals in maintaining their chosen employment.


It is a unique role:
a blend of Occupational Rehabilitation and working within the Disability sector in a very holistic, multidisciplinary approach. There is NO billable component and maintaining work life balance is a big priority.

This role is a hybrid (WFH and office) permanent full-time opportunity.

Additionally, you will:

  • Conduct holistic assessments to identify barriers. Also conduct workplace assessments, cognitive, or quality of life assessments as required. The work is diverse and varied
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with our participants
  • Manage a caseload of clients living and working with Multiple Sclerosis to maintain their employment

About you:

  • Allied Health Professional for example Occupational Therapist with AHPRA Registration
  • Demonstrable understanding of and commitment to working with people who have a disability
  • Knowledge of employment barriers that individuals with a disability face when trying to maintain or look for employment
  • Advanced negotiation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain own clinical expertise through ongoing relevant professional development
