The Executive Manager Bank Marketing role plays a pivotal role in the leadership, design and delivery of the Suncorp Bank Marketing function.

Reporting to the EGM of our Consumer Distribution business, the role is responsible for driving growth, brand equity and return on marketing investment for Suncorp Bank.

The key objective of this role is to lead the strategy and execution for the Bank's product and tactical campaigns, including above the line campaigns, digital marketing, customer lifecycle programs, and content through owned and social channels.


What you'll do

  • Lead the development of the Suncorp Bank marketing strategy
  • Lead the development of the strategic marketing plan and calendar of activities
  • Accountable for marketing ROI by leading a marketing program of work
  • Lead and manage required reporting commitments on specific marketing campaigns and activity
  • Lead the development of the social media strategy and channel planning for the Bank portfolios
  • Design and production of scalable content for earned media (social), owned asset content (web assets), and paid media (digital & traditional)
  • Provide strategic direction, delivery and implementation of all customer 1:1 marketing programs across Suncorp Bank
  • Manage the relationships with the creative, production and media partners to ensure they are aligned to Bank strategic goals to deliver marketing effectiveness.

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years marketing experience in a similar environment (either client or agency side) with a focus on direct marketing and/ or customer marketing
  • Strong knowledge of brand strategy/positioning, strategic marketing principles, marketing communications strategies and experience and a competency in data driven marketing
  • Strong strategic and conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to develop and implement realistic plans for complex system and / or process change
  • Exceptional ability to build strong relationships, align diverse stakeholders around common goals and successfully motivate people toward shared outcomes
  • Understanding of ROI methodology and expertise in performancebased campaign design, management and optimisation
  • Strong understanding of digital and direct marketing fundamentals
  • Strong financial acumen, commerciality and ability to unlock P&L value via brand, marketing and communications strategy
  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent
