About the role

An opportunity exists for a mid-level marketer to join the marketing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

An integral part of the team, this role is responsible for the execution of all internal and external marketing activities to support the successful delivery of the marketing strategy for the precinct and the property project.


Your responsibilities will include:

Support the Marketing Manager in collaborating with the project team to transform individual project marketing goals into tactical campaigns;
Assist in the development and tracking of marketing budgets and liaise with, brief, and manage external agencies;
Execute a wide range of marketing activities (advertising, collateral, content, social media, website, events, activation and placemaking) to drive brand awareness, engagement, achievement of targets and ROI;
Create a calendar of marketing activities and events, including seasonal placemaking activations, promotions, and partnerships;
Support the Marketing Manager with campaign tracking, measurement, data collection and reporting across all channels; and

Undertake competitor analysis, market research and insights work as required.

To be considered for this opportunity, your skills and experience must meet the following requirements:
Ability and willingness to be in the Brisbane office for - 4 days per week;
Tertiary qualifications in marketing or a relevant field, such as business, communications etc;

  • 5 years' experience in corporate marketing, gained in retail, property, consumer, or destination marketing;
Previous experience in event partnerships and brand activations would be highly regarded;
Ability and willingness to attend event activations that are outside of business hours and on weekends from time to time;
Strong skills in copywriting, content creation, social media platform management, campaign coordination and digital marketing;
Strong project management skills, organisational skills, and the ability to confidently build relationships directly with internal and external stakeholders, including retailers;
Ability to plan and monitor marketing activities, campaigns and calendars; and

A proactive, driven, and collaborative style, with a genuine passion for placemaking and destination marketing.
