As
State Facilities Manager, you will work with one of Assetlink's significant clients in the ACT. The role is based at the Canberra Centre - the largest and most prestigious shopping centre in the ACT.


The focus of the role is to own the key relationship with the Client at the Canberra Centre and to lead the on-site teams to deliver exceptional integrated services.

You will deliver a high level of customer experience, service excellence and ensure financial, commercial, safety and people leadership objectives are met.


What you will be doing:

  • Be the primary leader and owner of the Assetlink ACT operations premium retail, commercial and mixed assets
  • Accountability for the delivery of exceptional integrated services at the Canberra Centre (cleaning, security, customer service and maintenance)
  • Provide strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, training and inspiration to your teams
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Client and stakeholders to report on performance related KPI's and operational matters
  • Establish and build process and systems improvements in all facets of business operations
  • Oversee all financials/budget and control the P&L

Desired Skills and Experience:

You will have:

  • Facilities management experience and a background within a retail environment
  • Demonstrated integrity, personal responsibility, initiative and the ability to energise, persuade and influence others
  • Ability to adeptly manage client relationships and maintain the highest professional standards
  • Demonstrated ability to think broadly, create a shared vision and embrace change as an opportunity
  • Proven experience in financial management, people management, and commercial success
  • Ability to multitask, be flexible and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Cando attitude with high energy and resilience
  • Proactive approach and the ability to take ownership
  • Advanced communications skills with all levels of the business
  • Fully vaccinated in COVID19
