The Planning and Analytics Branch provides enabling services and technical capabilities to support the University's teaching and research objectives.

Planning and Analytics supports strategic and operational planning by the provision of higher education policy analysis, data and analytics, performance reporting, survey operations and program portfolio advice.


The Branch includes management information analysts, data warehouse developers, report authors, data visualisation developers and planning officers who research, build, compile and interpret information to help the university create its plans and achieve its goals.


Working under broad direction the Manager, Analysis, Service and Engagement leads a team of analysts responsible for production of data, information and analysis to support planning and decision making across the organisation.


To be successful you will need:

  • high-level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills appropriate for working with a wide range of stakeholders both within the University and externally;
- demonstrated experience supervising a team of analysts;
- experience in communicating complex concepts to a diverse audience;
- experience with modern data management, analytical and/or visualisation tools;
- natural curiosity and flexibility that has led to the continuous acquisition of new skills and knowledge.
