The purpose of this role is the delivery of hospitality (Food & Dining Experience) specific strategic critical success factors in line with our three pillars, Vision, Mission and Values, Rhythm of Life and championing meaningful change to achieve ongoing efficiencies and long-term success.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Support the homes to achieve a pleasant dining experience. Exceeding residents dining expectations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring menu diversity and assist with managing special diets.
  • Support feedback and complaint handling.
  • Ensures alignment with organizational values and effective kitchen management.
  • Develops seasonal menus and collaborates with stakeholders to tailor menus to residents' preferences.
  • Oversees dining budget development and management for each home.
  • Ensures timely food delivery and explores cost-efficient suppliers while maintaining quality.
  • Monthly assessment of RoL standards compliance and implementation of improvements.
  • Reviews kitchen operations for food safety compliance.
  • Attends Food Authority Audits and ensures dining operations meet ACQSC standards and reports service delivery variations.
  • Achieves compliance with Anglicare and legislative requirements for WHS and hygiene.
  • Participates in regional and onsite meetings to provide expertise.
  • Networks with stakeholders to support site priorities.
  • Conducts onsite visits and builds strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Delivers timely reports on hospitality service performance and compliance to the Head of Operations.
  • Supports Residential Manager in staff performance management and accountability.
  • Collaborates with Head Of Operations on training programs.
  • Develops and reviews hospitality systems to enhance efficiency and service.
  • Business operations and oversees region's hospitality services to meet KPIs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must hold minimum of Cert 4 in Commercial Cookery
  • Proven experience in a similar role in aged care (5+ years)

To be successful in this role you must have: NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
