About the Position:


This position has a primary focus on the delivery of the year round Aquatic Recreation programs, Facility Hire & the Attendant Support Initiative.

It provides direct support to ensure that all Aquatic Program staff are qualified and well versed in Active Monash aquatic program responsibilities towards driving the quality service delivery and safety of the Attendant Support Program, Recreation programs and Facility Hire.


Skills and Experience:

The successful applicant will be capable in the following areas:
Support the Aquatics Program Coordinator in the development delivery and compliance of programs
Assist in ensuring growth of the Aquatic Recreation Programs including though not limited to Children's Birthday Parties and Attendant Support Program
Monitor the quality of aquatic programs and initiatives
Manage aquatic facility hire bookings
Ensure that policies and procedures are always adhered by staff to ensure a high level of service delivery
Maintain the professional image of council, Active Monash, and its programs, creating a safe, informative, friendly, and customer-focused environment
Be responsible for maintaining a high standard of Customer Service to the community

Requirement of the position:

Proven experience and achievement in the leisure industry or relevant tertiary qualification

Experience in liaising with external organisations, community groups, people with additional needs and the general public

Level 2 First Aid with current CPR

Working with Children Check - or preparedness to attain

Safeguarding Children Certificate - or preparedness to attain

AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Licence or Pool Lifeguard Certificate desirable

Current Victorian Driver's license
