Reporting to the Deputy Director-General Innovation and working with the Queensland Chief Entrepreneur, as Executive Director Operations within the Innovation Branch, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure innovation drives economic competitiveness and performance.

You will contribute to making Queensland a leading innovation economy across various priority areas.

Leading a collaborative team valuing researchers, innovators, and businesses' success through stakeholder engagement strategies is crucial for overall economic growth.

Efficiently delivering policies and programs, maximizing investment returns, and establishing an outcome-focused reporting framework is essential.

Your communication skills, negotiation abilities, and understanding of political environments will drive outstanding outcomes with integrity.

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in innovation and economic development, staying informed on international trends for program delivery.
