We have an exciting new opportunity to join the Brisbane team as a Studio Manager.

Playing a critical part in the smooth running of the studio and the delivery of our projects, this full-time permanent role encompasses a broad and diverse range of responsibilities.

The Studio Manager will report to two local Studio Directors, and support in the people management of a supportive and tight-knit group of 12 team members.

You will be supported by a global Executive team of specialists in Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and IT, as you:

  • Manage submissions and tenders in conjunction with Studio Directors (including proposals, contracts, fees, and marketing material),
  • Manage project admin (including project set up, quality system audits and workflows, contract reviews and admin, variations and project resourcing),
  • Manage the studio premises, coordinating supplies and equipment, IT, client and studio events,
  • Support Brisbane Studio Directors to facilitate local recruitment, staff communications and annual people activities (performance, promotions, salary reviews), and
  • Contribute to the global studio network (One Studio) through collaborative problem solving, teamwork, and improvement initiatives.
About You

With at least 4 years' experience in similar operational and project-based roles, you will be highly motivated, organised, and proactive in your delivery of high-level support both to our local studio and the global practice.

You will have a good graphical design eye and experience in using InDesign or similar layout software. You will have strong numerical and communication skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word.

Experience in project finance will be highly regarded, as well as an understanding or experience with quality management systems (ISO9001 compliant or similar).

This is a unique role which requires a combination of fantastic people skills, administrative strength, and a genuine alignment to our collective Purpose.
