About the Role:
As someone driven by faith and passion in your daily tasks, you will support the Australian Program Director in overseeing Tearfund's engagement initiatives in Australia, including fundraising, communications, and advocacy.

The Personal Assistant plays a vital role in managing administrative tasks for the Australian Program Leadership Team, facilitating communication, relationship management, and event coordination within a Christian framework. Your collaboration with the APD and the leadership team will be instrumental in the success of Tearfund's engagement programs in Australia.

This part-time role (21 hours per week) is crucial to Tearfund's engagement strategy and offers flexibility in work hours.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines calmly.
  • Strong Christian faith and commitment to Tearfund's mission and values.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and relationship building.
  • Consistent practice of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and anticipate administrative needs at a senior level.
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail in all administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, email and project management software, and databases.
