Remuneration:
$50.15 per hour excluding any applicable loadings, allowances and superannuation

About the role:

The Network and Systems Analyst role is responsible for providing services within the ICT Department and broader organisation. The role assists in resolving internal and external network operating issues.

The Network Systems analyst requires knowledge of ICT Infrastructure systems (Server OS, Desktop OS, Client Devices, LAN and WAN Technologies, Telephony) to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

Performs tasks that ensure effective running of systems within the ICT Department and broader hospital.

Ensures IT network and systems requests are logged and managed in accordance with local procedures.

Develops end of month statistical data for networks, services, servers, and other data when requested.

Possesses technical ability to work across implemented systems and software with procedural frameworks.

Provides advice to Desktop Support staff, Radiation Oncology and IT partners as required.

What you bring:

Relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications and experience.

Experience with Microsoft Windows (Server and Desktop), Exchange, SQL and Identity Management in an enterprise environment.

Knowledge and experience with IT infrastructure including backup, hardware, databases, client devices, operating systems, directory services and high availability.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.


The Calvary Mater Newcastle is an Affiliated Health Organisation providing services to both public and private patients primarily from the Hunter New England area.

Current employees of NSW Health can request to have various leave entitlement balances transferred to Calvary Mater Newcastle on commencement.
