Chart the course for excellence as the Strategic Lead - Aged Care

Full time - Fixed term until 30 June 2025
We are seeking a dynamic leader with experience in leading teams through complexity and changing circumstances.

Being the leading voice, advocate and promoter of BCH's aged care services, you will have the fulfilling responsibility to shape a new and integral service model within the organisation.

The role:


Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will be responsible for leading the aged care project team to explore the future possibilities in aged care.

You will ask the questions, look at the options and help shape the future in support of our clients and community in this area.


Liaising with external stakeholders and other Community Health networks you will build relationships, build and share knowledge right across our state-wide community health organisational partnerships.

Assessing the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities you will formulate pathways to implement the success of the aged care services to Ballarat Community Health whilst supporting our Strategic Plan

What you will bring to the team:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant clinical discipline.
  • Post graduate management qualifications preferred.
  • Project management experience essential.
  • Senior level experience preferably in the aged care sector, at an executive level
  • An understanding of different corporate structures and collaborative business models.
  • Experience and success in identifying and developing sustainable services.
  • Detailed understanding of the aged care system, particularly communitybased services.
