About us

Harness Racing Victoria (HRV), a statutory body, is responsible for the control, development and promotion of the Victorian harness racing industry.

With strong links to rural and regional communities, we are committed to developing a vibrant and sustainable industry that promotes participation, integrity and racing excellence.

We value all our customers, from our participants - which include trainers, drivers, breeders and owners - to our regional clubs, industry stakeholders and fans of the sport.

We work closely with the other Victorian racing codes to support the ethical treatment of our animals, as well as ethical wagering.

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced social media advisor, with a desire to work at a proven, trusted and respected brand within the sports entertainment industry? Known for your dynamic content creation, storytelling and analytical skills, this is a fast-paced, multi-faceted role that celebrates racing, drives engagement and manages HRV's social media portfolio.

HRV is committed to providing a flexible and inclusive work culture that values and supports diversity and inclusion. Travel between HRV Head Office located in Flemington, Melton and country clubs and regional Victoria may be required.


Given the unique nature of this position, weeknights, weekends and public holidays work will be required outside of usual working hours, particularly during major race meetings.
