About the role


Bendigo Bank's Business Customer division has resourced our teams to ensure we can provide the high level of service and face to face relationships that our customers are looking for and that gives us our competitive advantage.


As a Business Relationship Manager you will manage a portfolio of small business clients with complex lending typically in the range of $500k - $1.5 million across a variety of industries.


Key to this role is:

Relationship management:

Connect with your customers through quality conversations to design and deliver innovative, holistic and needs-based solutions that will help to grow their business.

Build deep and lasting relationships. Maintain credit and portfolio quality.

Collaboration:

Work closely with internal stakeholders: form partnership relationships with Consumer Regional Managers and branch managers, coach and lead education of Branch teams, build trusted relationships with Credit Risk.


Business development:

There are huge opportunities for growth in the Small Business sector and business development will be an important part of your role: Develop and implement localised plans to raise the profile of Small Business in the community, deepen existing relationships and acquire new customers.

This is a full time, permanent position. Hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today.

At times you will work from branches in the region to better service your customers and strengthen the relationship with the consumer team.

You will be based from our Brisbane office on Adelaide Street.
