Permanent opportunity for an experienced Relationship Manager to join our Brisbane office within our Commercial Business Banking team.

As part of our high performing team, you will support the State Manager in driving growth through excellent customer service, connecting customers to products, and effective risk management.

You will be surrounded by high integrity banking professionals while managing and growing your own portfolio of business customers across Commercial business channels within the Brisbane market.


What you'll do

  • Maximise the visibility of the Suncorp Group brand throughout the region by actively and positively promoting the company at public events. Network and liaise with tier 1 customers in conjunction with the Manager to optimise and maintain relationships and promote customer retention
  • Manage the Group's relationship with customers within your assigned portfolio tier
  • Support improvements and monitor the relevant customer satisfaction outcomes for the portfolio
  • Assist the Suncorp Group's understanding of and meeting of holistic customer needs as well as lending needs and collaborate across channels to meet customer needs
  • Develop your Assistant Relationship Manager through one on ones and joint customer visits
  • Design, implement and monitor an annual portfolio business, marketing, and business plan to achieve desired portfolio growth
  • Provide development opportunities for staff to allow the achievement of current and future objectives and Suncorp desired staff satisfaction results

What you'll bring

  • Tertiary Qualifications in business, commercial or finance are desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in roles requiring growth and retention of a customer base
  • Understanding of Management Rights _desirable but not essential _
  • Experience in financial services
  • Demonstrated experience in a role requiring growth and retention of a customer base
  • Able to build strong relationships in relation to matters involving a wide range of stakeholders
  • Superior networking skills
