The Role
Senior Electrical Inspectors undertake regulatory and technical activities to ensure compliance with Acts and Regulations as authorized inspectors under the Energy Coordination Act 1994.
As a Senior Electrical Inspector, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for coordinating and conducting investigations of incidents, fatalities, and breaches of legislation. Your role will involve inspecting electrical installations, providing advice to stakeholders, preparing reports, and presenting evidence in courts to enforce safety measures.
In addition, you will perform audits of network operators' systems, identify issues for improvement, recommend changes, and provide guidance and training to other inspectors.
The ideal candidate is a licensed Electrician with extensive experience in electrical supervision and inspection, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Excellent communication, organizational, training, and safety-focused abilities are crucial for success in this role.
