Greater Sydney Parklands:-
Casual Opportunities up until June 2024 with view to extend, weekend work required:

Multiple roles available, based at the Centennial Parklands, Callan Park, Parramatta Park, and Western Sydney Parklands

Clerk Grade 5/6, attractive casual hourly rate starting from $49.12 per hour + casual loading + super + penalty rates for weekend/public holiday work
Greater Sydney Parklands (GSP) is a city-wide agency created to become Sydney's leading urban parks advocate.

In partnership with communities and governments, it will plan for and expand great open spaces and parklands and champion the NSW Government's new 50 Year Vision for Sydney's Open Space and Parklands.


GSP currently brings together five iconic parks across Sydney: Centennial Parklands, Parramatta Park, Western Sydney Parklands, Callan Park and Fernhill Estate.

A fantastic opportunity exists for Education and Community Programs Officers to join our passionate team of educators, delivering transformative formal and non-formal learning experiences to foster connection to nature through curiosity and understanding.

This is a hands-on role, delivering exciting community programs and NSW curriculum linked school programs that promote nature connection, science, geography, the environment and other key learning areas.

There are multiple roles available to be based at
Centennial Park, Callan Park, Parramatta Park, and Western Sydney Parklands, with flexibility to work across multiple sites.


Key knowledge and experience

  • Experience in delivering high quality and innovative education programs to a wide range of audiences including people of all ages, abilities and cultural backgrounds.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the structure and workings of the formal education or community engagement sector, including student delivery and curriculum requirements.
  • Experience in the delivery of formal educational activities and/or community programs in an outdoor setting or at a science or cultural institution.
  • Experience in the development and review of program and/or lesson content as well as written and interactive educational resources.

Essential Requirements

  • Current Working with Children check.
  • Ability to lift up to 15kg several times a day.
  • Current Australian driver's licence.
