Your future role
You will have a key role in leading a team of facility coordinators and engineers to maintain the RRSMC facilities and associated project works. This position will be based in West Melbourne with occasional travel to other locations in VIC.
We will look to you for:
- Leading and managing a team of facilities coordinators and engineers.
- Overseeing third-party contractors, maintenance services providers, and utility providers.
- Implementing process changes to enhance the efficiency of the Facilities Maintenance function.
- Managing the relationships between V/Line, VicTrack and Alstom related to the Facilities Maintenance function.
- Identifying areas in the facilities for potential enhancements or upgrades to improve safety and maintenance practices.
- Keeping the Fleet Planning function informed about upcoming facilities maintenance events affecting fleet maintenance activities.
- Managing the roster for the facilities maintenance function.

- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills with a proven ability to influence at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams.
- Significant background in a similar role within Facilities Maintenance.
- Experience in developing and implementing procedures, work instructions, and maintenance instructions (preferred).
- Degree in engineering or relevant trade qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical.
