The Opportunity:
Our client is one of Australia's leading specialists in lighting, looking for a Warehouse Dispatch Administration Allocator Clerk to go the team.
The role will see you manage the daily administrative duties associated with the dispatch and transport orders for the other warehouses and the stores as well customer orders.
The company is located at their Derrimut DC. This is a Temp to Permanent opportunity.Key responsibilities will include:
To be successful in this role, the successful applicant would ideally possess the following skills:
- Allocate and wave all orders as per provided pick schedule and order priority.
- Distribute orders to picking team.
- Ensure all dispatches are recorded and dispatched within specified timeframes.
- Use systems including our WMS, carrier's portals and reporting tools accurately and efficiently.
- Booking of thirdparty transport
- Ensure that all accompanying documentation is accurate.
- Assist with customer enquiries regarding warehouse related activities.
- Assist as required with the receipt of incoming goods, inventory control and any other dispatch related activities.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholder's
- Physically Fit and healthy
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- The initiative, punctuality, and reliability
- A keen eye for detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Previous warehouse/dispatch experience
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs
- WMS experience
- Able to complete officebased work, as well as lift and move stock and other items up to 15kg.
- High level of organisational skills
- Must be a good customer service minded person.
