An essential supporting role for business reporting across the organisation
The Role
The Corporate Performance Reporting Lead will support the organisation through measured business planning and reporting against standard local government measures and frameworks.
They will provide guidance and advice on the ongoing provision and maintenance of Council reporting frameworks and lead the development of the Council Plan.
About You
Ideally you will have:
- demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and information technology
- high level communication and conflict resolution skills
- ability to investigate and analyse data
- a high level of attention to detail
Key Selection Criteria
- Degree in Business Management, Data Analytics, or related fields, or equivalent industry experience
- Demonstrated experience in preparing materials such as reports, data analysis and briefs around organisational performance
- Relevant experience in performance measurement, monitoring and reporting.
- Understanding of how Victorian local government operates, particularly how to navigate the legislative and regulation requirements that guide the Integrated Strategic Planning and Reporting Framework, OR demonstrated experience in an organisation navigating legislative requirements through corporate planning and reporting
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication in order to liaise, negotiate and present data to a variety of audiences, including the demonstrated ability to establish positive working relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience using Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau etc
