Finance Business Partner (12 Month FTC)
Our Commercial Finance team operate in a fast-paced, ever-evolving and inherently complex industry.

We have built a commercial partnering capability where our teams are embedded in the business, providing a 'seat at the table' for all critical business decisions through analysis, business case assessment and driver-based planning and forecasting.


Our role in Commercial Finance is to support, challenge and advise the business to ensure we are making the right decisions.


We are currently recruiting a high-calibre Finance Business Partner to add further strength our Commercial Finance team and make a significant impact in driving plans and performance across the business.


Reporting to the Head of Finance - Customer, you will be responsible for the day to day commercial finance support in our customer supply chain and home service functions, as well as support in the broadcast and technology departments - the engine rooms ensuring a best in class customer experience for our premium customer products and content offerings.

The Finance Business Partner will be supporting key executives in the effective management of significant capital and operating expense budgets.


You will be a true business partner with the business to provide end to end finance support delivering financial modelling, providing analysis and advice on key projects and initiatives, as well as owning the budget and planning processes and ensuring actual results align to expectations across both capital and operating expenditure.


The commercial finance team has a collaborative approach, providing potential to get involved in projects outside of your immediate day to day remit.

As business priorities evolve over time, you may also have the opportunity/ requirement to support other products and areas of the business.


Your experience and capabilities

  • The role does not require previous sector experience, but genuine interest in technology/ broadcast technology and/ or customer serviceoriented businesses will set you up to success as well as demonstrated experience in financial analysis and decision support in a fast moving business will be highly regarded
  • Strong numerical ability and ability to quickly understand financial impacts of changes in key business drivers, with equal confidence in detailed modelling as quick judgement based back of the envelope estimates
  • Confident presenting to business stakeholders, including preparation of supporting materials (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with the business and working with nonfinance stakeholders
  • Be comfortable navigating ambiguity and working flexibly as you may also have the opportunity to support other products and areas of the business
  • Self motivated and driven with mature approach with the ability to adapt approach as relevant to the task/ situation
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, and able to understand the bigger picture and implications of decisions across the wide organisation
  • Degree qualification in Finance CA/CPA or equivalent preferred
  • A passion for Entertainment we're big believers in knowing the product and knowing the customer
