This outstanding opportunity entails driving room revenue, optimizing occupancy, and leveraging hospitality business opportunities at our Sydney, Gold Coast, and Brisbane sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a pipeline of offers to boost sales for hotel/business events
  • Lead Business Events and Hotel sales efforts to enhance revenue and surpass budgeted targets
  • Provide strategic guidance and develop a business plan for designated markets, ensuring KPIs are met
  • Address queries and complaints diplomatically and escalate issues with constructive feedback to the Head of Commercial Hospitality
  • Offer direction and support to the Group Sales Executive and Co-ordinators to uphold employee relations, performance standards, and align with organizational goals

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in Business Development within hotel and business events sectors
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Superb communication skills to engage stakeholders across all levels
  • Strategic thinking and alignment of initiatives with organizational objectives
  • Collaborative work approach within a team setting
