About the Role

What you will be doing:

  • Resolve customer phone and online enquiries;
  • Provide technical arboriculture advice to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Assess, research, document and resolve customer requests regarding tree and vegetation removal;
  • Carry out duties under the State Environmental Planning Policy, EP&A Act & Local Government Act;
  • Prepare statement of facts and contentions, brief of evidence, affidavits and appear in Court as an expert witness

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Arboriculture/Horticulture and/or similar related field/ or
    nearing completion;:
  • Demonstrated understanding of local government operations & related legislation;
  • Experience in dealing with customers, with an ability to deal with and solve protracted enquiries;
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and proven record in meeting strict deadlines, balancing and responding flexibly to competing priorities;
  • Class C Motor Vehicle Licence.

Position details:

Permanent full-time role, S1124 Salary: Up to $90K per annum + Superannuation + Council Leaseback Vehicle.

  • Salary will be based on qualifications, expertise, experience and knowledge_
