Supply Chain Manager in Sydney, NSW.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish performance metrics for supply chain tracking
  • Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety of delivery
  • Hold full responsibility for projects Warehouses (Lilyfield, Randwick, Rouse Hill, Auburn, Sydenham ) & 3PL Partners and logistics and distribution of goods to stores.
  • Manage inventory supply and forecasting. Driving towards best practice "inventory planning and management" principles to achieve cost objectives as well as excellence in service levels.
  • Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements suppliers in collaboration with other departments
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with key functional areas of the business.
  • Develop a good working culture that embraces standard operating procedure compliance, continuous improvement, idea generation, innovation and collaboration.
  • Manage and support a team of professionals
  • Establish relationships with global forwarders and suppliers to ensure smooth product supply.

Key Requirements:

  • Hold a Degree in Business or Supply Chain or related discipline.
  • Experience within the rail, defense, transportation or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience in leading all areas of supply chain from planning through to delivery.
  • Previous experience working with ERP (Maximo, SAP)
