Are you ready to take the next step in your career in Supply Chain? Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain ANZ, we have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Optimisation Manager to join our Tip Top team.

Based in North Ryde with flexible hybrid working conditions this role manages the National Planning & Materials supply across the Tip top network, whilst optimizing the network supply activities and to manage key 3rd Party and Supply chain procurement activities.

This role is very diverse and requires a high level of leadership and business acumen to ensure whole of systems/business thinking.

In addition to the leadership of the inbound materials and supply planning teams, the role will lead the Procurement Process for all Supply Chain related activities (including Transport & Warehouse).

This role manages all the interdependencies to enable success.
Purpose of the Role

  • Overall management of the operational stream of Major Projects (Operational & Supply Chain) as directed by the Head of Supply Chain ANZ
  • Establish project governance including charter, plans, issues & risks registers, dependency mapping and costed manifests
  • Lead the Supply planning & material supply national team including SOP comms and NPD product set up to ensure effective launch to market and ongoing material supply
  • Lead IBP Supply planning process and participate in other IBP work streams
  • Ensure workstreams & process are continually reviewed and improved as part of a continuous improvement mindset
  • Manage imported direct material supply activities and develop relationships with key stakeholders
  • Establish and execute stakeholder management plan and communication framework
  • Manage and lead the Freight & Warehouse procurement and other Supply chain procurement activities as prescribed including delivery in terms of costs, timeframes, quality to agreed service levels
  • Lead and support the business strategy in network optimisation across the bakery network, including where made where sold, line capacity, network constraints and future capital requirements
About You

  • 57 years of relevant management experience (within supply chain and FMCG food preferable)
  • Supply Chain Procurement experience (Major contract/Tenders)
  • Experienced in dealing with and engaging 3rd party Manufacturing and contracts
  • Experience managing different types of projects including strategy, business change, evaluation and selection, IT, infrastructure deployment
  • Understanding of Supply Chain / Operations discipline and function within FMCG
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working in a matrix organisation
  • Flexible and agile
