About the Company

An excellent opportunity to join a medium sized financial service organisation with a well-respected brand. As the new Head of PMO you will be responsible for managing and providing expert support on complex projects.

About the Role

Manage and oversee the Program Management Office, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Establish and implement project management methodologies, tools, and templates to ensure consistency across all projects.


Work closely with senior executives and project teams to define and advise project objectives, scope, and requirements, and ensure that all stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and partners.


Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery, and proactively develop and implement solutions to minimize their impact.

Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the PMO and implement improvements where necessary.

Skills & Experience

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role or equivalent is essential.

Experience working within the financial sector is highly desirable.

A proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects through development and implementation stages.


Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of project managers and project support staff.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


A solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, and the ability to adapt and implement them to meet the needs of different projects.
