Account Manager - Club Marine, Coomera QLD

How can building relationships lead to achieving outcomes with impact?
Our Account Managers are empowered to take ownership for driving and maintaining relationships with our valued business Partners.

You will take the lead on this for a QLD panel and will share responsibility for the state's performance by working closely with Partners to maximise their insurance revenue, achieve long term and sustainable growth and ensure partner satisfaction.


It will be your responsibility to:

  • Formulate, implement and manage strategic business plans for Partner accounts to achieve sales revenue / sales quota targets.
  • Develop additional business from existing portfolio in line with budget targets while managing income and expense budgets.
  • Act as the main interface between the Partner and the organisation, to ensure an optimal level of service is provided at all times and continually seek the opportunity to participate in Partners' strategic business planning processes.
  • Ensure that effective account retention and defence strategies are in place to promote Partner retention.
  • Implement and use appropriate sales methodologies, strategic selling practices and effective negotiation skills.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and account plans in line with compliance obligations

Important to your success:

  • Proficient at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning, exchange knowledge and elicit beneficial outcome
  • Relevant financial services industry experience with experience managing client accounts.
  • Ability to document and understand market and Partner requirements to identify, pursue and close business development opportunities that contribute to the profitability of the organisation.
  • Good knowledge of relevant lines of insurance and all associated legislation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
  • Demonstrates strong presentation skills that are engaging and impactful.
