Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join its Finance Team and support the company's ongoing growth

The Role
Joining a happy and positive finance team, your day here will include the following key responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities
  • Bank Reconciliations and other relevant GL reconciliations
  • Handling and the ability to deal with client/supplier queries
  • Dealing with statement reconciliations
  • Manage ageing debtors and creditors to ensure all invoices are received and paid within appropriate timeframes
  • Administer employee expense claims
  • Provide any additional support and end of month support as directed by the Finance Manager
  • Maintain accurate financial records in Reckon to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the company
  • Prepare financial reports for management as required eg P&L, accounts receivable, accounts payable.

About You

You will bring these attributes to the role:

  • 3+ years prior experience in a similar high-volume / complex role.
  • Prior experience with Reckon (highly desirable).
  • Experience in using Net Suite, Aurion or similar size ERPs (highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible, well organised and display initiative to improve practices.
  • Be IT savvy and enjoy using a variety of systems with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven capacity to work autonomously and to approach activities with initiative.
  • A capability to work, interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and build positive, professional relationships.
