What You Can Expect - The Opportunity
The purpose of this position is to perform safety & performance testing, installations, maintenance, and repairs of Draeger medical devices located predominantly at customer sites or within the workshop environment to meet customer and service agreement requirements

Responsibilities include:

• Timely and effective response to break service requests to ensure customer equipment is returned to full operational status

• Perform preventative maintenance as per manufacturers testing and part replacement schedule to ensure optimum equipment performance

• Perform installation of new devices and upgrades including basic operating instruction and orientation

• Perform field corrective actions as required to remove product defects and reduce risk to patient health and safety

• Provide customer support for region by ensuring that customer concerns and issues are addressed efficiently and to the satisfaction of the customer

• Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities/leads to sales representatives

• Provide technical support and advice to sales and marketing teams to increase sales

• Identify and report quality issues from the field to management and internal departments.

What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate for this role will have:


• Qualification in biomedical engineering or electronics field desirable

• Candidates with Electrical license with device repair experience are encouraged to also apply

• Desire and ability to quickly learn technical product information and service skills

• Field Service Work Experience with Biomedical Devices

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Strong customer focus

• Ability to organise and prioritise work to meet tight deadlines and manage high workloads

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and windows operating systems.
