Our client, a Global Manufacturer of Lubricants for the mining and automotive industries, is looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator who has strong problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, who can review standard policies and procedures, evaluate the effectiveness of those programs and identify continuous improvement measures.

This person will report and work with the QA Manager playing an integral role in ensuring that quality standards are met in operations and service deliverables.


Our client has been around for over 90 years and have over 5000 employees, producing more than 10,000 products for various industries including mining, auto, and industrial.

As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, this role will require someone willing to take a "hands on" approach to Quality.

Working in a team of 2 with this role will suit someone who can monitor and control quality audit processes and procedures, while also possessing a good ability to communicate with the production team and suppliers driving improvements to the Quality Management Systems.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Actively identify potential hazards or nonconformances within incoming material, manufacturing operations, delivery of finished goods and customer support.
  • Identify processes, critical areas where organization is meeting requirements, as well as identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Respond to incidents when they occur and take any necessary steps to certify production, raw material, production, delivery and return the business to normal operations as quickly as possible.
  • Prioritise incidents according to their urgency and influence on the business.
  • Produce reports that outline incident concerns, actions, deadlines, validation, and lessons learned.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to identify data quality needs and requirements. Engage with production team to drive those improvements
  • Manage ISOpro
  • Follow the conditions of safety policy and procedure
  • Adhere to EHS Policy and Procedures at all times
**What we are looking for: - Strong stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to drive Quality culture within a production environment

  • Strong leadership skills. Someone who takes a "hands on" approach to Quality. This role will be 50/50 in the office and on the production floor speaking with Production members and managers
  • Strong communication skills. You will have to drive quality. Analyse nonconformances, design new processes and communicate those processes effectively
  • Problem solving mindset. With experience using problem solving methodologies. 8D, Ishikawa, 5Why, etc.
  • Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Highly regarded: Proven experience and qualification within internal auditor under Integrated Management System
  • IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO and ISO IATF16949.
