What you'll do


The role is the first point of contact for enquiries and reports to the NSW Ageing and Disability Abuse Helpline.

The Helpline Consultant provides timely and quality intake, assessment and response to enquiries and reports about abuse, neglect and exploitation of adults with disability and older people.

Essential requirements

  • Commitment to the rights of adults with disability and older people.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of service/support systems available to older people and/or adults with disability.
  • Dedication to upholding our values.
  • National Criminal History Record Check
