The opportunity
As the
Manager Pricing, Costing and Strategic Performance, you will provide specialist and strategic advice to Silverchain on pricing and margin outcomes. You will ensure that governance standards, tools and processes are applied to pricing and costing tasks for delivery to the State Executives and Commercial teams. You will also work with specialist Commercial and Finance teams to provide robust analysis and advice on accurate costing of services and initiatives to increase efficiencies, optimise cost recovery and improve product viability.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Guide the development of costing and pricing analysis and processes with data foundations.
- Develop and embed robust cost and price modelling practices, standards and frameworks into all services.
- Transform data and information into pricing and costing insights for strategy and decisionmaking.
- Lead and develop the skills and career of pricing and costing professionals to build a high performing team.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to forecast data and analytics needs for costing and pricing.
- Influence and effect business process changes to support efficient, costeffective and data informed operations.
- Ensure data privacy and security in compliance with legislation and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure agile and disciplined delivery of outcomes for the business with key stakeholders.
- Enhance the internal pricing and costing analytics capabilities by keeping up with industry trends.
About you
- 5+ years in a leadership role in agedcare, health and/or data field is desirable.
- Relevant degree in Business, Leadership, Analytics, Data Science, etc.
- Accounting, finance or pricing certification is desirable.
- Proven ability to deliver valuable initiatives that improve business processes and outcomes.
- Experience in developing robust cost and price modelling practices and standards.
- Expert communication and leadership influence skills.
- Experienced leader in coaching and mentoring cross functional team members.
- Exposure to health and aged care business processes and functions is desirable.
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate and support business solutions development and implementation.
- Highly developed project management skills to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Adaptable to new situations.
