Program Scheduler

This is a new opportunity for an experienced

Program Scheduler to join a large Enterprise level organisation to support a transformation journey to digitise and simplify processes.

This role is to support the Program Manager and project team to help with a service modernisation program.

Key roles & responsibilities:

  • Establishing a scheduling management system that's efficient and sustainable.
  • Collaborating with project managers and experts to plan assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
  • Ensuring that project timelines align with the needs of various departments and stakeholders.
  • Tracking project deadlines and timelines.
  • Identifying potential schedule setbacks and promptly taking action to resolve them.
  • Assessing project performance and creating progress reports.
  • Incorporating updates and alterations to project schedules as necessary.
  • Providing suggestions to ensure projects remain on budget and completed within the designated timeframe.
  • Keeping stakeholders updated on project timelines and deadlines.
  • Recording and documenting project scheduling processes.

Skills and experience required:

  • Having a PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification is desirable.
  • Must have at least two years of experience as a project scheduler in a related industry.
  • Proficient in using MS Project software for project scheduling at an advanced level.
  • Demonstrated expertise in schedule planning and management.
  • Thorough understanding of the scope of projects within the industry.
  • Advanced ability to assess project progress and take timely corrective action.
  • Skilled in keeping stakeholders updated on project timelines and changes.
  • Excellent organizational, timemanagement, and communication abilities
  • Previous experience in Government agency (highly desired).
