PLC invites applications from outstanding individuals to provide strategic, educational, and operational leadership. Leading the development of high-performing, collaborative, and student-centered delivery, the Director of Teaching and Learning will oversee our teaching and learning team and programmes, ensuring sustainability, future focus, and continued success.
Reporting directly to the Principal and leading a critical team including our Heads of Department and Curriculum Services, this role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning experiences and outcomes for all students. This will be achieved through effective and contemporary programme design and implementation, maximising strengths in teaching resources and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic and innovative leader and educator with a proven track record in developing and delivering strategic educational initiatives. You will have the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team, thrive on challenges, and be driven to continually improve. The successful candidate will commence in January 2025 or prior if agreed with the successful applicant.

PLC is the only girls' school in Western Australia that offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

We are a Uniting Church school catering for around a thousand day and boarding students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. Our campus is in the leafy suburb of Peppermint Grove, situated between the ocean and the river.
