The role of Principal Asset Strategist presents an opportunity to be part of a dynamic Branch working on strategic portfolio planning and social housing reform.

This role is key to planning for the growth and transformation of the department's portfolio of social and affordable housing and supported accommodation.


ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Analyse key asset/portfolio management drivers, particularly financial, demographic, property, and market indicators, and establish strategies for successful management of the department's portfolio.
  • Proactively build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders within the group, department, other government departments, in particular central agencies and relevant external organisations to inform and implement portfolio management strategies.
  • Analyse complex portfolio management program development and delivery issues and risks, including identifying and resolving key issues, risks and trends impacting on the successful achievements of key service delivery objectives and operational program imperatives.
