THE ROLE

- An excellent communicator with the ability to negotiate firmly and tactfully with senior stakeholders?
The Principal Adviser, Housing Development Branch is responsible for ensuring effective coordination of branch corporate accountabilities, planning, and staff engagement.
You will lead a small team and operate in a complex and dynamic environment, requiring capacity to exercise sound judgement, liaise effectively with senior executives and build relationships with key people across the department and relevant stakeholders for the Homes Victoria.
The position plays a key leadership role and supports the delivery of outputs for Chief Development Officer and the Housing Development Branch.
The position operates with a high-level of professionalism, autonomy, initiative and collaboration.ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide senior advisory and executive support to the Chief Development Officer, Housing Development Branch on corporate responsibilities and operational issues.
- Coordinate and manage delivery of divisional submissions, briefings and responses to corporate and government requirements, including business planning, performance monitoring and reporting, risk management and finance and resource management in line with departmental and divisional priorities.
- Manage and support ministerial, parliamentary, departmental divisional executive functions and processes.
